The Oscar winning actor visited HLN’s Morning Express show, where host Robin Meade asked him to read the story about the addition of the word to the Oxford Dictionary.
The actor used his gravest voice to read the definition aloud to viewers: “To dance to popular music in a sexually-provocative manner. Involving thrusting hip movements and a low squatting stance.” He noted that “selfie” and “girl crush” have also been added, all without cracking a smile. Freeman has played God and president, but perhaps the role he was born for was cable news morning host.
