The latest UtahPolicy.com survey conducted by Dan Jones and Associates finds 81% of Utahns disapprove of the job Congress is doing, while a paltry 16% approve.
That disapproval is very strong. More than half of Utahns say they find the job performance of Congress "highly unfavorable." Another 27% say "somewhat unfavorable." Only 2% say their impression of Congress is "highly favorable."
Utah's Legislature gets higher marks, though. 59% approve of the job state lawmakers are doing while 36% disapprove.
However, that support is not very strong. 52% say they find the job performance of the Legislature "somewhat favorable," while just 7% rate it as "highly favorable."
The survey was conducted September 23-25 among 403 likely voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 4.88%
