Poll: Utahns Would Blame Our Members of Congress for Gridlock

Nearly 3/4 of Utahns say if gridlock continues in Washington, members of our delegation should be held responsible.

Our UtahPolicy.com survey finds 74% of residents say the blame for dysfunction in Washington should fall, at least partly, on the shoulders of Utah's delegation.

After the sweeping Republican successes in November's election, Utah's Congressional members will have quite a bit of influence in Washington. Sen. Orrin Hatch is the new Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. He's also the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. Rep. Jason Chaffetz is Chairman of the House Oversight Committee and Rep. Rob Bishop is Chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee.

The survey was conducted by Dan Jones and associates December 2-10, 2014 among 609 registered voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.97%.
