“Carol is an incredible example of service, and the work she does makes St. George and all of Utah a better place,” Senator Hatch said. “Her impressive management skills have made Switchpoint into a unique, innovative resource center with powerful reach and vast potential to do good in the community. I commend her on her ride, and even more on her years of service to Utahns in need.”

Carol and her husband Bob rode a tandem bike from San Francisco to Washington D.C., traveling approximately 100 miles a day over 41 days, staying at homeless shelters at night. You can read more about their ride and their work at breakingthecycles.org.
