Despite promises that Obamacare would lower health care costs by $2,500 for families, health insurance premiums continue to go up, up and up.
In fact, the Obama Administration has already admitted that average Obamacare premiums are expected to rise by a whopping 7.5 percent this year alone.
And, if that is not enough, take a look at recent headlines that show even more concern for rate hikes across the country:
- In Minnesota, insurance policies on the exchange have rate hikes in the double digits – between 14 and 49 percent.
- In Oregon, premiums for the benchmark plan on the exchange will go up by about 23 percent.
- In Alaska, the premium hike will be more than 31 percent for the benchmark plan.
- In Oklahoma, the second lowest cost silver plan premiums will increase more than 35 percent.
- In Utah, plans on the federally-run exchange will be 22 percent higher next year.
The evidence is clear: Obamacare has led to less affordable coverage for American families, workers, and job creators. The time for repeal is now.
