Doug Owens today announced his fundraising total of $350,000 in the fourth quarter of 2015, bringing total campaign contributions to over $670,000. Owens now has $500,000 cash on hand to challenge Mia Love in the race for Utah’s 4th Congressional District.
“I’m honored and encouraged by the widespread support our campaign is receiving from throughout Utah and beyond,” said Owens. “I’m proud to be running a campaign that is focused on Utah families and that is supported by Utah donors.”
Since announcing his candidacy just six months ago, Owens’ momentum has steadily increased and his campaign has received unprecedented local and national attention. The Hill recently named Utah’s 4th District as one of “Nine House Races to Watch” and The Cook Political Report, a respected handicapper of Congressional elections, shifted the race in Owens’ favor, noting his strength as a candidate.
