Utah Department of Public Safety Launches News Website

The Utah Department of Public Safety recently launched DPS News to help make residents aware of public safety interests.

Utahns will find information to better protect residents, organizations, and institutions against threats to the well-being and prosperity of the community.“We are thrilled with possibilities of this new channel,” said Keith Squires, Commissioner of the Utah Department of Public Safety. “DPS News will set the standard for information sharing in the nation.”

From driver safety to cybercrime, DPS News is the official source on public safety issues concerning Utah residents. DPS News shares information well beyond law enforcement. Utahns will see the latest news and updates for:

“DPS News will be a great tool for our divisions, especially the Statewide Information and Analysis Center,” said Squires. “It will allow us to share the most up-to-date information with residents.”
