The Office of the State Auditor today announced the release of two Audits of the Utah State Fair Corporation. The Office identified one finding: Inappropriate Oversight and Lack of Approval over Employee Expense Reimbursements.
Auditor Dougall emphasized, “We encourage all government entities to evaluate their employee reimbursements practices, particularly in regards to appropriate supervisory review and approval. Also, while various incidental purchases may be made by employees on their own personal credit cards, in general, customary business purchases should not be steered through personal credit cards.”
