United Utah Party hosting event for millennial voters

The United Utah Party (UUP) is hosting a luau party for those 35 and under. Come meet new friends, enjoy great food and learn how you can make a difference in Utah.

The event will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 5:00 p.m. at 10140 S. 700 in East Sandy at the Lone Peak Park (north pavilion). Admission for the event is $10.

“Young people want a change from the Republican-Democratic duopoly that has dragged us to coarse public discourse, huge national debt, and partisan gridlock,” said Richard Davis, United Utah Party chair.  “We’re setting a new course and invite anyone, but particularly young people, to get to know more about this new alternative.”

The United Utah Party unites those who eschew the extremism of the two major parties and want a party that focuses on practical rather than ideological solutions to pressing problems.   The party was formed in 2017 and includes former Republicans, Democrats, and independents.
