Utah Foundation announces board leadership changes

Utah Foundation announces several changes to its board leadership. Chair Elizabeth Hitch is retiring from her position with the Utah System of Higher Education and is departing Utah Foundation’s board.

The new officers are:

Chad Westover, CEO of University of Utah Health Plans, is the new chair. He previously served as Utah Foundation vice chair.

A. Dan Eldredge, General Manager of Intermountain Power Agency, is the new vice chair. He previously served as treasurer.

Raymond Hall, Chief Human Resources Officer at Larry H. Miller Management Corporation, is the new treasurer.

In addition, Brian Autry, Director of Hypersonic Booster Programs at Northrop Grumman, is now Fund-Raising Chair.

“Now going into its 75th year, the Utah Foundation has never been more relevant and needed in fulfilling its mission of encouraging informed public policy,” Dr. Hitch said. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve on the Utah Foundation Board with the enthusiastic and informed representatives of the member organizations.”

Mr. Westover thanked Dr. Hitch for her dedicated service to Utah Foundation’s board. “Liz leaves Utah Foundation a stronger and better organization,” he said. “We will miss her energy, passion and insights – and we wish her the very best in her future adventures.”
