The Hatch Center—the policy arm of the Orrin G. Hatch Foundation—announced it will be hosting a symposium on cybersecurity and geopolitics entitled “America’s Cyber Resilience in the Digital Age” with keynote speaker John Sherman, Chief Information Officer of the Intelligence Community in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
“With an election on the horizon—and our national reliance on technology growing every day—strengthening our cybersecurity infrastructure is more urgent now than ever before,” said Orrin G. Hatch, Chairman Emeritus of the Hatch Foundation. “As a former member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, I understand the threats facing our nation, and John Sherman understands those threats better than anyone. I’m grateful John would accept my invitation to visit Utah, and I look forward to hearing from him and our panel of cybersecurity experts.”
