The Salt Lake Chamber has announced a new informational webinar series — “Utah Leads Together” — to support our community’s economic reactivation and to help implement the Utah Leads Together plan for business.
“Utah businesses have been courageous in dealing with the urgent phase of the coronavirus — innovating, adapting, and overcoming,” said Derek Miller, president and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber. “They have put employees and customers first, and even given remarkable service to the community. These experiences have prepared them well as we approach the new normal in society and the workplace.
My belief is that as we move into the stabilization and rebuilding phases, our businesses will be empowered, stronger, and more resilient because of an inflection point nobody wanted but one that gave our employers and heroic employees the opportunity to think deeply about the future and the welfare of those who depend on them. “Utah Leads Together,” the new webinar series sponsored by the Salt Lake Chamber, will contribute to this important dynamic, and I encourage businesses to join us. As we are getting use to saying, “We’re all in this together!”
These webinars will address the steps and considerations necessary to get businesses back to work in our new normal. Business, industry, health and safety experts will share best practices, guidelines, specific risks and ideas on how to build consumer confidence as we turn the dial and safely return to the workplace.
