COVID-19 business impact survey

EDCUtah 1000

The social and economic impacts of COVID-19 have been deep and acute. In March, the Utah Economic Response Task Force conducted a business impact survey, and more than 1,200 Utah businesses responded.

With those results, the Task Force was able to:

  • Gauge impacts to identify appropriate funding sources and aid
  • Identify companies able to manufacture or donate personal protective equipment to address shortages
  • Illuminate for cities and counties the issues local companies face in order to best provide localized aid

The Task Force would like to check in again with the business community to see how conditions are evolving. We ask businesses to respond whether or not they took the first version of the survey a month ago.

This updated survey should take less than five minutes to complete. The updated version is here: https://edcutah.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5ndzPhPyZOqRivz

As businesses respond, you will be able to see the aggregated results for the state and any Utah county through an interactive tool found here: https://edcutah.org/covid19-dashboard

As a side note, this edition of the survey is national in scope. We are sharing it with our economic development counterparts in other states, and we encourage you to share it with your business contacts across the country. National results will also be available at the dashboard above.
