Kael Weston & Evan McMullin host joint Facebook Live event

On Monday, Nov. 2, Evan McMullin will join Kael Weston for a special Facebook Live event on the topic of Bridging Divides this election year-and after. It will take more listening and less yelling to start to repair and rebuild our country in 2021. Electing Joe Biden as president is the beginning of that process.

McMullin was an independent candidate for president in 2016, serving before then on Capitol Hill and as an Intelligence Officer. During his campaign, he raised important issues that resonate today with many residents across Utah’s 2nd Congressional District. He received almost 22% of the vote in the Beehive State.

The Weston for Congress campaign logo-hands across forearms-speaks to this theme of bridging divides. In Kael’s travels throughout the vast district (approximately 8,000 miles across 14 counties, a geographic area that is almost half the state of Utah), voters have raised issues that reflect common ground: affordable and accessible health care for all, land protection and climate change, a living wage, social justice, and seeking accountability and competence in all levels of our government, among other topics.
