Podcast: The Utahn who is putting his money where his mouth is on gun control

Bob Steiner is spending nearly $200,000 of his own money on ads urging Utahns to vote for candidates who will take action on gun control measures.

Steiner says he was inspired to launch the TV and internet ads after students who survived the school shooting in Parkland, Florida visited Utah over the summer.

Steiner thinks there are some common sense gun control measures lawmakers could take, that would be supported by the majority of Americans. But, they haven’t adopted those policies because they lack political courage.

He speaks with Managing Editor Bryan Schott.
