Podcast: Therapist Malissa Morrell on coping with coronavirus

Malissa Morrell 01

As Utahns stay at home because of the coronavirus pandemic, many are finding it more and more difficult to cope with the isolation from social distancing.

Once again we speak with Malissa Morrell, a licensed marriage and family therapist and board-certified art therapist in Salt Lake City. She discusses how people can manage feelings of loneliness and a need for human connection as they continue to stay away from friends and family.

Morrell is the founder of The Therapy Studio in Salt Lake City and teaches at the University of Utah’s Graduate School of Social Work.
