We broke the story that Gov. Gary Herbert tried to get Thomas Wright to drop out of the governor's race. Herbert confirmed our story on Thursday. Wright claims another campaign leaked the story in order to gain a political advantage. We look at what happened, what we still don't know, and how this could affect the race.

The first televised debates take place next week. The Utah Debate Commission may have a problem on their hands with one of the moderators.

Utah lawmakers are trying to find places to cut the budget.

Utah has more than 100 deaths from COVID-19. Most Utahns say they're worried the state may lift restrictions too soon. 70 percent said they would likely stay at home for another month if public health officials asked them to.
