On Oct. 24 the Utah Broadband Project and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development will host the 2013 Utah Broadband Tech Summit at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo.
The daylong event features a keynote address about high speed access in rural Utah, exhibits, presentations and workshops about broadband planning for local and regional needs, the impact on industry sectors and economic development for high-tech businesses.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Utah stands out as the most Internet-connected state in the nation, and the Utah Broadband Project is strengthening that position as it facilitates the integration of broadband and information technology into local economies.
