In a Wednesday morning interview, President-Elect Donald Trump said Mitt Romney is still in the mix to be named Secretary of State.
Today’s Matt Lauer asked Trump if he has crossed any names off his list for the Cabinet post, to which Trump said he had, but wouldn’t name them. Lauer then asked Trump bluntly if Romney was still in the running to head up foreign policy in his administration.
“Yes he is,” Trump replied.
When asked when he might make his decision on Secretary of State, Trump said the choice would probably come in the next week or so.
