Chaffetz: It’s time for Jeff Sessions to go (with video)

Former Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz says it’s time for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to go.

Chaffetz, now a commentator for Fox News, says Sessions is not up to doing the job and should step down.

From Daily Caller:

“It pains me to say this a little bit, [but] I don’t think the attorney general is up to the job he’s doing,” Chaffetz said. “The reason there is a special counsel is because he had to recuse himself from everything. I think it’s time for the Attorney General to go.”

Chaffetz also said there should not even be a special counsel and praised Inspector General Michael Horowitz, saying he will come up with the most definitive report in the time frame.

The former Utah congressman also criticized Sessions for not prosecuting Bryan Pagliano, the IT technician in charge of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, who did not respond to a congressional subpoena.
