The Congressional Leadership Fund, the super PAC aligned with GOP House leadership, placed a $1 million TV ad buy on Tuesday to support Republican Mia Love in her re-election bid against Democrat Ben McAdams.
Politico reports the ads from the CLF will begin airing on Wednesday and will continue through election day.
The ads from the CLF are the first independent TV ads in the highly competitive race.
The most recent UtahPolicy.com survey found Love with a 3-point lead over McAdams. Several election forecasts rate the race as either a toss-up or “lean Republican.”
