Economic Summit features Carly Fiorina and Kathy Warden

The 13th annual Utah Economic Summit, hosted by Gov. Gary Herbert, will be held May 17 at the Grand America Hotel.

Presenters at the 2019 Summit include Gov. Herbert, Carly Fiorina, chair of Carly Fiorina Enterprises and former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, and Kathy Warden, CEO of Northrop Grumman. The summit theme is Global Connections – How Utah’s Business Elevated Mindset Creates Success.

The Utah Economic Summit engages the state’s top leaders and decision-makers from business, government and academic communities with the most relevant business topics to help bolster Utah’s robust economy. The summit provides a platform for strategic dialogue about current economic impacts and future growth of Utah’s business communities.

This year the Utah Global Forum will help provide programming during the summit. A number of general and breakout sessions will address Utah’s role in the global marketplace, how local businesses can benefit from an international strategy and Utah’s already strong track record of global exports.

The summit is presented by the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development, World Trade Center Utah, in partnership with the Salt Lake Chamber.
