There’s a bi-partisan bent to our list of the “most vulnerable” seats in the Utah House heading into the 2014 election. Three are currently held by Democrats and two belong to the GOP.
However, two of those Democratic seats are actually open because of retirement. Reps. Janice Fisher and Tim Cosgrove decided to not run for re-election.
Our “most vulnerable” seat is held by Democrat Larry Wiley. A number of Democrats and Republicans tell UtahPolicy that they wouldn’t be surprised if Wiley’s seat changed hands in November
We came up with our list by considering the results in that district from 2012 as well as the relative strength of the incumbent and challengers.
