Sen. Daniel Thatcher (R-West Valley City) is one of the few people on Utah’s Capitol Hill who understands, and has affection for, the world of Joss Whedon’s “Firefly.”
Thatcher recently attended Salt Lake Comic Con Fan X and caught up with Firefly star Adam Baldwin to discuss why Utah is such a popular place for tourism and film production.
“You have such a wonderful natural setting and a great community spirit here, it’s just so welcoming,” says Baldwin. “I can see why you do well with tourism and other businesses. Who wouldn’t want to be in Salt Lake?”
