Utah’s gubernatorial candidates will have a chance to talk issues in a free live stream forum hosted by local nonprofit Envision Utah this Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Interested attendees can RSVP here.

Participants will be the top candidates from both Republican and Democratic parties, including Spencer Cox, Jon Huntsman Jr., Greg Hughes, Chris Peterson, and Thomas Wright. The forum will be hosted by Envision Utah board chair Doug Wright.

The event, replacing Envision Utah’s annual breakfast, will be hosted live on YouTube for free and will give Utahns the chance to better understand how the next governor might address some of the most important long-term issues facing the state. It will also be the first major candidate event after the Republican and Democratic party conventions. Attendeees have a chance to weigh in on which growth-related topics are focused on during the discussion by taking a survey here.

The conversations and questions in this forum will be based on the Your Utah, Your Future vision, a long-range strategic plan created with the input of more than 52,000 Utahns. This forum will provide candidates the opportunity to discuss in detail how their visions, priorities and plans align with what Utahns want for their children and grandchildren.
