Mediaite breaks the news that Abby Huntsman, daughter of former Utah Governor and presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, has been hired by Fox News as a reporter.
Huntsman has been out of a gig since MSNBC killed off The Cycle in July.
Mediaite has learned that Huntsman will be joining Fox News as a general assignment reporter for the network. We reached out to Fox and a network spokesperson confirmed the hire.
Huntsman––daughter of 2012 Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman––previously worked at HuffPost Live before joining MSNBC as one of the co-hosts of The Cycle in 2013,replacing S.E. Cupp after she made the jump to CNN.
