Johnson Hits the Airwaves with TV and Radio Ads

Jonathan Johnson AdWith less than a month to go before the June primary election, GOP gubernatorial challenger Jonathan Johnson has launched an advertising assault on incumbent Gary Herbert.

Johnson’s advertising blitz includes TV and radio ads. His campaign did not provide information on how much they spent on the ad buy or how long they would run

In the first TV ad, Johnson slams Herbert as a “career politician” who raised taxes and is too chummy with lobbyists.

The second TV spot blasts Herbert for his fundraising from lobbyists, using the recording where he pushed lobbyists for fundraising and called himself “Available Jones” for his willingness to meet with donors.

The 60-second radio ad again hits Herbert for tax hikes and highlights Johnson’s pledge to sign a pledge to not raise taxes.
