The school year may have ended, but summer school in Granite School District begins Monday, June 7. This means students will still be walking to and from school locations during the week, and drivers must use extra caution when travelling in neighborhood areas and school zones.
Just like the regular school year, Granite School District urges drivers to follow the directions of crossing guards and adhere to school bus cross arms. Vehicles must slow down in active school zones, and drivers must be on alert during morning and afternoon commutes. Failure to drive responsibly around schools puts our students at risk.
