The U.S. Department of Education today named:
- Lewiston Elementary School in the Cache School District
- Emerson Elementary School in the Salt Lake City School District
- Judge Memorial Catholic High School in the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City
as National Blue Ribbon Schools.
All three were named in the Exemplary High Performing Schools Category, meaning the school was in the top 15 percent of schools in the state for academic performance, in the top 40 percent in the state for each subgroup, and – if a high school – among the top 15 percent in the state for graduation rate.
