Granger High students honor deceased loved ones with butterfly exhibit

Granger High School students will continue a long-standing tradition of being involved in the Utah Cultural Celebration’s Día De Los Muertos Event with a special art installation. This year Granger students and staff selected the theme of the monarch butterfly and its great migration. Every student in visual art classes created butterflies in honor of loved ones who have passed away. The invitation to participate was then extended to the whole school, and dozens of students and staff created their own butterflies for the event.

The art exhibit will be on display at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (1355 W 3100 S) through November 4. Tickets are required for entry on Saturday, October 30.
