Envision Utah’s annual Common Good Awards takes place Nov. 11

Envision Utah’s annual Common Good Awards will take place on Thursday, November 11th! This year’s event will focus on climate stewardship with a discussion with Representative John Curtis, of Utah’s Third Congressional District.

Representative Curtis serves as the inaugural Chairman of the Conservative Climate Caucus, which works to educate House Republicans on climate policies and legislation consistent with conservative values, bring representatives and staff together to better understand technologies and issues related to climate, and organize member and staff briefings on climate proposals.

Beyond an engaging discussion with Representative Curtis, the Common Good Awards is also an opportunity to honor organizations doing amazing things to make life in Utah great—now and in the future. This year’s awardees are:

Utah Refugee Connection

Creating meaningful connections between refugees, the community, and public and private organizations that support refugees in developing self-sufficient and fulfilling lives.

WCF Insurance

Supporting Utah businesses and families, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, by providing bridge loans and grants for small businesses, helping to feed frontline medical workers, and supporting many other non-profit organizations!

Due to ongoing COVID-19 circumstances, this event will be held virtually. Please click the link for more information and tickets.
