US Senate candidate Becky Edwards announces $1 million milestone and 2100 individual contributions

The campaign of U.S. Senate candidate Becky Edwards (R-UT) announces it has received more than 2100 individual contributions and over $1 million since officially joining the race in May. The campaign noted that almost 90% of donations have come from within the state, indicating strong grassroots support and an increasingly clear path to victory for the leading Republican challenger.

“I’m incredibly proud of the momentum and excitement around our campaign,” said Edwards. “We’ve surpassed the $1 million milestone with almost 90% of our 2100 individual contributions coming from within the state of Utah—more than the incumbent and the independent candidate combined. Every dollar is a call for more proactive, productive, and inclusive leadership, and I’m ready to bring that leadership to Washington.”

“Mike Lee is vulnerable,” said Chelsea Robarge Fife, Senior Communications Director for the Edwards campaign. “Between his consistently low approval ratings and the small number of in-state donations he’s received, it’s clear Utahns are ready for a change.”

Looking ahead, the campaign says they will continue to focus on Edwards’ ten years of legislative experience in the Utah House and her reputation as one of the state’s most effective lawmakers.
