Emerging Leaders Initiative of Utah to host U.S. Senate forum

The Emerging Leaders Initiative of Utah is excited to announce a candidate forum for the 2022 U.S. Senate race. The forum will afford young voters across the state an opportunity to interact with candidates for the U.S. Senate and hear their outlook on the issues that matter most. The forum will be held on Thursday, June 9th from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Founders Room at Zions Bank. After a brief welcome from ELI leadership, each candidate will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and share why they decided to enter the race. Following the introductions candidates will field questions specifically geared towards the issues facing young Utahns. Media is welcome to attend.

The Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) of Utah aims to engage young professionals (ages 18-35) in their local, state, and national governments. In doing so, ELI aims to elevate the voice and impact of younger generations at every level of government, creating a space in our communities for voices between the ages of 18 and 35 years old to participate in policymaking and related processes.
