The South Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVCC) announced the launch of a new summit tailored to support and supercharge small businesses in Utah. Taking place on October 18, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., SOURCE is the South Valley’s Small Business Summit and is designed by small business leaders for small businesses with less than 50 employees. The event will be held at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy, but is open to small businesses across Utah and beyond.
SOURCE will include presentations from entrepreneurs and business leaders behind some of Utah’s most prominent small business success stories. SWIG Founder, Nicole Tanner, has been announced as the kickoff keynote for the event. Tanner founded SWIG in 2010 and since partnering with Savory Restaurant Group in 2017, has grown the small business to 41 locations across Utah, Idaho, Oklahoma and Texas. Additional presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to mainstage speakers who will empower and educate small businesses, the event includes a service provider expo where small businesses can connect with innovative public and private service providers who offer tools to help a business operate more efficiently.
“As attendees learn from fellow successful small business owners, they will have the opportunity to connect directly with tools and resources that will help propel their business forward,” said SVCC Small Business Committee Chairwoman Jennifer Silvester. “As a small business owner myself, my business experienced tremendous growth as I learned to outsource certain responsibilities to key partners.”
