Past and present staff, alumni celebrate Rolling Meadows Elementary’s 50th anniversary

WHERE: 2950 Whitehall Dr, West Valley City, UT 84119 

WHEN: Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 4 – 8 p.m.  

WHAT: Students and staff from past and present will celebrate Rolling Meadows Elementary School’s 50th Anniversary. The school first opened its doors in 1972, the same year that NASA’s space shuttle program officially launched and the same year that the video game “Pong” hit the shelves.  

Much has changed since Rolling Meadows first opened and faculty would like to celebrate the school’s past while inspiring current and future students and staff.  

A fun evening full of events includes an open house with tours of the building, a slideshow, a program with a student choir, and guest speakers and staff recognitions. The night will conclude with games, music, and crafts from the 1970s.  

4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Past and Present Staff Mingle. 

5:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Open House with a tour of the building. 

6:00 – 7:00 p.m. – 50th Anniversary Program. 

7:00 – 8:00 p.m. – Games, music, and crafts from the 1970s.
