Gov. Cox will accept the gavel from current NGA chair New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and announce his year-long NGA Chair’s Initiative at the closing session of the National Governors Association summer meeting in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Following the NGA 2023 Annual Meeting, incoming NGA Chair Utah Gov. Spencer Cox and incoming NGA Vice Chair Colorado Gov. Jared Polis will meet with members of the media in person and via Zoom to outline the NGA Chair’s Initiative.
