John Curtis announces run for U.S. Senate in 2024

U.S. Representative John Curtis announced today his candidacy for Utah’s open U.S. Senate seat in the 2024 election.

“As a father and grandfather, I care deeply about Utah’s future. That’s why today I’m announcing my candidacy for U.S. Senate,” said Curtis. “We need to get America back on track and as your Senator, I will keep fighting reckless spending in both parties and work hard every day to make Utah an even better place.”

As Utah’s next U.S. Senator, Curtis will continue to deliver for Utahns. He will continue to fight against Biden’s reckless spending and work to make America not just energy independent, but energy dominant – effectively improving the U.S. economy and increasing our national security.  Curtis will continue to stand up to communist China’s aggression, push back on federal land-grabs of Utah’s land and work to fix Biden’s disastrous border policies.

During his time in Congress, John Curtis has delivered for Utah. He has helped to create jobs by promoting small businesses, fought for our rural communities, and protected our farmers and ranchers from government overreach. His office currently ranks number one in accessibility and accountability, and Curtis was recently named one of the most effective Republicans in Congress.

Prior to serving in Congress, Curtis was the Mayor of Provo where he cut the budget, improved services and Provo became one of the best-run cities in America. Throughout his time as Mayor, Curtis enjoyed a 94% approval rating.

Curtis believes that Utah families deserve to be heard. A devoted husband of 41 years and proud father of six children and 17 grandchildren, Curtis knows there is an urgent need for a stronger, more prosperous America—one that will keep our loved ones safe and provide a better future for generations to come.
