Last weekend, Utah Policy received an award from the 2024 Top of the Rockies Contest sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists’ Colorado Pro Chapter. This is a regional, multi-platform contest for news outlets in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
Longtime Utah Policy contributor Jared Whitley was recognized for his columns, winning in the small-newsroom category for column writing (1st place) and headline writing (2nd place) – making this fourth in the last six years that Whitley has won that exact headlines award.
