Nonprofit organization expands mission to support and protect women and girls worldwide through education, micro-business, health support, and on-the-ground evacuation and risk mitigation
The Crystal Bayat Foundation, a prominent, refugee-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering women worldwide through education, micro-business, and health support, announced today its rebranding as Hope for Her International. This change reflects the organization’s expanded mission to provide comprehensive support and protection to women and girls globally. As part of the rebranding effort, Hope for Her International has launched a new website, enhanced support programs and new corresponding fundraising campaigns.
A Broader Mission
Since its inception in 2018, the Crystal Bayat Foundation has made significant strides in advancing the rights and opportunities for women and girls. However, the evolving landscape of global challenges has necessitated a broader scope. Hope for Her International will continue to build on the solid foundation laid by the Crystal Bayat Foundation while amplifying its impact through new, critical initiatives.
“Our rebranding to Hope for Her International represents our commitment to addressing the urgent needs of women and girls around the world,” said Crystal Bayat, Hope for Her International executive director. “We are expanding our efforts to not only provide mentorship and education but also to offer life-saving evacuation and risk mitigation services to those in danger.”
Enhanced Programs and Services
Hope for Her International’s enhanced programs will focus on four key areas:
● Entrepreneurship and Mentorship: Connecting women and girls with mentors and business owners who can guide and support them in their personal and professional development.
● Education for Everyone™: Offering scholarships, educational resources, and training programs to empower women and girls with knowledge and skills for a better future.
● Evacuation and Risk Mitigation: Implementing on-the-ground operations to evacuate high-risk individuals, particularly women and girls, from dangerous situations and provide them with safe havens and necessary resources for rebuilding their lives.
● Health Programs: Supporting mental health for those in need, especially refugees, and implementing programs for the prevention of child mortality and maternal death.
