The Orrin G. Hatch Foundation is pleased to announce that the fifth installment of The Senate Project will air tonight at 8 PM ET on C-SPAN. The debate, which took place on June 27 at the Kennedy Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, featured Senators Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and was moderated by NBC News Chief Political Analyst Chuck Todd.
Held in the full-size replica of the U.S. Senate Chamber at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute, this debate brings the tradition of bipartisan deliberation to the forefront, showcasing political disagreements while fostering areas of common purpose.
The Senate Project is a partnership between the Orrin G. Hatch Foundation, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, and the Bipartisan Policy Center. With this upcoming installment, ten Senators will have participated in The Senate Project to date, an initiative that brings current Senators before a national audience to model deliberation and the search for common interest.
