The Utah Fairpark Area Investment and Restoration District (UFAIR) is proud to announce the appointment of Benjamin Buys as its new Executive Director, effective October 17, 2024. Buys will bring his expertise and leadership to help guide the district’s strategic vision and ensure the successful revitalization of the Utah Fairpark surrounding areas.
The decision to appoint Buys was made by the UFAIR board, with Chair Scott Sandall expressing enthusiasm for the new leadership. “We are thrilled to have Benn join the UFAIR team,” said Sandall. “His experience and skills make him the ideal person to lead our efforts in restoring and enhancing the Fairpark area. We look forward to his vision shaping the future growth of the district.”
His leadership will be integral as UFAIR embarks on key investment and restoration projects aimed at reinvigorating the district, a cultural and historical landmark in Utah.
The Utah Fairpark Area Investment and Restoration District (UFAIR) was created in HB562 in the 2024 legislative session. UFAIR is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and economic development of the Utah Fairpark surrounding areas.
