The Utah Taxpayers Association has endorsed Gov. Spencer Cox in his bid for reelection in the 2024 General Election.
As the Association reviewed the records of the gubernatorial candidates it was clear that Cox had a strong record of protecting Utah taxpayers and putting forward economic policies that have made Utah the envy of the nation. His accomplishments include signing legislation that strengthens Utah’s business climate and approving the largest tax cuts in state history. Governor Cox’s leadership on tax policy and economic growth have perpetuated Utah’s top ranking for economic outlook and secured a bright future for Utahns.
“Gov. Cox has shown he cares about the taxpayers of Utah,” said Billy Hesterman, President of the Utah Taxpayers Association.”The legislation he has signed has had a positive impact on the families and businesses across the state. He is the right choice to lead Utah for the next four years.”
Governor Cox’s tax history includes signing legislation into law that cuts Utah’s tax on social security, increases the state’s dependent exemption to aid Utah families, and cut the state’s overall income tax rate in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The Association encourages all Utahns to support Gov. Cox in his bid for reelection.
