Salt Lake County opens public comment period for H2Oquirrh Visioning Plan

Salt Lake County’s Office of Regional Development is pleased to announce the opening of a public comment period for the H2Oquirrh Visioning Plan. This comprehensive plan aims to enhance recreational opportunities and preserve the natural beauty of the Oquirrh region, and community input is a vital part of the process.

The H2Oquirrh Visioning Plan offers a roadmap to create balanced access to outdoor activities while ensuring the region’s open spaces remain protected. The County and all of our municipal partners (including Bluffdale, Herriman, Riverton, West Jordan Cities, and the Wasatch Front Regional Council) invite residents, visitors, and all those who value the Oquirrh area to review the plan and share their feedback to help shape its future.

“We are committed to developing a sustainable vision for the Oquirrh region, one that reflects the values and priorities of our community,” said Jason Wolf, Salt Lake County’s Canyon Management Program Director. “Your input is invaluable as we work to enhance recreation and conservation in this beautiful area.”

How to Participate:

The public comment period is open now through November 25, 2024. To review the H2Oquirrh Visioning Plan and provide feedback, please visit slco.to/H2Oquirrh.
