Today, the Orrin G. Hatch Foundation announced that it will recognize Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) with the “Titan of Public Service” award during a special gala event at Salt Lake City’s Grand America Hotel on August 7, 2025.
The award, inspired by the Foundation’s namesake, Senator Orrin G. Hatch, is presented to leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to civic leadership throughout their careers.
Senator Cotton has served with distinction in the U.S. Senate since 2015, where he is a member of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the Armed Services Committee, the Joint Economic Committee, and the Intelligence Committee, where he serves as the Chairman. Senator Cotton is the third-ranking member in the Senate Republican leadership as Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference. Before entering public service, Senator Cotton served nearly five years as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Upon the announcement, Senator Cotton said:

Scott Anderson, Chairman of the Hatch Foundation.“His service, both in uniform and in the Senate, reflects the same deep sense of duty that defined Senator Hatch’s career. The Hatch Foundation is honored to recognize his achievements and contributions.”
