Victoria Petro, Salt Lake City Councilwoman representing District 1, is officially launching her re-election campaign with a community kick-off event on Saturday, June 14th at Switchpoint Coffee (2080 North Temple) from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Speaking program to start at 11 AM.
Petro, who was first elected to the Salt Lake City Council in 2021, is known for her tireless work advocating for the Westside of Salt Lake City. The campaign kick-off offers residents a chance to connect with Councilmember Petro, hear her vision for a second term, and join the growing movement for inclusive, resilient neighborhoods on the city’s west side.
“I’m running for re-election because there’s still so much work to do,” said Petro. “Together, we’ve stood up for fighting displacement, making our city more efficient and responsive, and ensuring our Westside neighbors have a reliable advocate. I love doing this work and am asking my neighbors to let me continue in it.”
