- Honoring Local Heroes: The event recognizes the vital contributions of firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders who risk their lives daily to keep communities safe.
- Community Impact: Many first responders lack access to essential estate planning services. This initiative ensures they and their families are legally protected—often for the first time.
- Volunteerism in Action: Utah attorneys are donating their time and expertise, demonstrating the legal profession’s commitment to public service.
- Unique Visual & Storytelling Opportunity: Media can capture first-hand interactions between attorneys and first responders, including interviews with participants, attorneys, and event organizers.
This program utilizes specialized software to create estate planning documents based on pre-submitted questionnaires. An anticipated 50 first responders will walk away with professionally prepared wills, estate documents, and healthcare and financial powers of attorney—free of charge.
