Daryl Davis to Speak on Conflict Resolution at UVU’s 2025 Presidential Lecture Series

WHAT: Utah Valley University is honored to host renowned musician, author, and internationally recognized conflict navigator Daryl Davis. Davis is best known for his powerful work in bridging divides, promoting constructive dialogue, and transforming conflict through meaningful engagement.

Davis will deliver the fall 2025 Presidential Lecture, titled: 

“From Discord to Harmony: Transforming Conflict into Collaboration”

In this compelling lecture, Davis will share his experiences navigating some of the most difficult social divides and offer strategies for fostering mutual understanding and productive dialogue.

The UVU Presidential Lecture Series brings distinguished thinkers and leaders to campus to share insights and inspire the community. All students, faculty, staff, and members of the public are invited to attend.

WHEN: Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:30 am

WHERE: Davis will speak live in the Vallejo Auditorium in the Scott C. Keller Building on the south end of UVU’s Orem Campus. See map below for directions and parking.
