Today, Sutherland Institute recognized a group of Utah school districts for transparent and parent-friendly online open enrollment information, as part of its new Open Enrollment Excellence Certificate.
The Open Enrollment Excellence Certificate provides public recognition to school districts that excel at hosting open enrollment information on district websites in ways that are meaningful and usable for parents.
The program was originally announced in the first week of February 2026. The initial certificate recipient districts are listed below.
- Cache County
- Iron County
- Juab
- Logan City
- Nebo
- South Summit
- Washington County
The rubric for receiving the certificate, which requires districts to fulfill all five steps, is below.
