Culinary Diplomacy: Building Bridges Through Global Cuisine

The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy continues its 2015–2016 Ambassador John Price and Marcia Price World Affairs Lecture Series by featuring Amy Riolo, an award-winning author, chef, television personality, cuisine and culture expert on Sept. 15 at the Vieve Gore Concert Hall, Westminster College, 1840 S. 1300 E., Salt Lake City. 


The event begins a 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

Communication is the common foundation for all relationships – and food is the foundation upon which families, communities and lives are built. In this engaging presentation, Riolo will share simple steps to better cross cultural communication and relations through food and dining. Her presentation will reveal how to "translate" the culinary cultures of other communities as well as practical tips to know when travelling and entertaining.
