Derek Brown announces formation of Law Enforcement Committee

Derek Brown, a leading candidate for Utah Attorney General, is proud to announce the formation of his distinguished Law Enforcement Committee. Comprised of the most well-known Utah leaders and experts in law enforcement policy, the committee is poised to provide invaluable guidance and insight as the campaign advances innovative and conservative approaches to law enforcement.

The Law Enforcement Committee boasts a diverse and accomplished lineup of co-chairs and members:

  • John W. Huber, United States Attorney for the District of Utah (2015-2021) 
  • Major General Jefferson Burton, Utah National Guard (Retired), and Member, Utah House of Representatives
  • Sheriff Nate Brooksby, Washington County
  • Rep. Ryan Wilcox, Chairman, Utah House Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee
  • Rep. Karianne Lisonbee, Utah House Majority Whip
  • Commissioner Lee Perry, Box Elder County Commissioner and Utah Highway Patrol (Retired)
  • Rep. Matt Gwynn, Chief of Police and Member, Utah House of Representatives
